Alhaji Grusah criticizes Hearts & Kotoko over their share the new GPL sponsorship money, saying, "We are not idiots."
The national football governing body named betPawa as that of the new headline sponsorship for such Premier League for the upcoming three years, earning a total of $6 million, on Wednesday.
Kotoko and Hearts, however, are said to have requested that the GFA give them a bigger cut of the League's advertising arrangements.
The 16 teams still in existence, in Grusah's opinion, are not "fools" to do nothing and let Kotoko and Heats get what they want from the FA.
Asante Kotoko & Hearts of Oak were labeled "greedy" by the outspoken football official.
"If you are large, your home will also be large. What is the spending plan? Do they understand my budget? Nobody feeds anybody; everyone eats, including the wealthy. If the other clubs just sit there and look foolish in front of these people... They, who? Are Kotoko and Hearts King Faisal's financiers? Selfish individuals. I'll notify the clubs that nobody should concur. For them to play, we should not support the league. Do they have a better understanding of money than we do? Let's go."
"FA is unable to distribute the funds to appease them; why not? They, who? Do they even understand how administration functions? Do they belong to the premier division or the super premier division? Hearts & Kotoko should participate in their league so that we may participate in ours. Are they wiser with money than we are?" Added he.
The two titans contend that because they have the largest fan bases, they should receive a greater proportion of agreements. But Grusah believes that their justification is weak.
"What figures? A Kotoko supporter has the option of tuning in or not if my club is competing. Do they understand how I lead my group? Hearts, 1911, did they not just get a practice field last year? I'm building King Faisal's practice pitch all by myself. They will learn whether they sent one such letter from me. They can't make such absurd suggestions. Do they provide financial support for us?" Grusah disagreed fiercely.
